Джек? Это вовсе не имя американца из Техаса, а название малочисленной этнической группы и одноименного села в Азербайджане. Поселение находится высоко в горах — в Губинском районе, а живущие здесь люди говорят на местном — «Джекском» языке. В селе осталось около 350 человек и потому сегодня «Джекский» язык относится к вымирающим языкам.
В горной деревушке есть школа и мечеть, построенная в VIII веке. В селе также можно познакомиться с бытом этого древнего народа, попробовать необычную, Кавказскую кухню, а еще посидеть с Аксакалами (старейшины) на скамейке, послушать их необычный язык.

Jack? This is not the name of an American from Texas, but the name of a small ethnic group and the eponymous village in Azerbaijan. The settlement is located high in the mountains of Guba region and people living here speak the local language.
There are about 350 people in the village, and therefore language of Jack’s people belongs to endangered languages today.
